PILCHER - Almira Chilcote

Mrs. Almira Pilcher died at her home at Marion on Sunday last of paralysis, aged about sixty years. She was the wife of the late Amos M. Chilcote, who died here five years ago. She was married last April in the circuit court room by Judge West to Mr. Whitehair, but the marriage did not prove a happy one and she was divorced from him and married to Jessie Pilcher in September and moved to Marion where they have since resided. She had considerable property interests here at the time of her death.
